Law Library

The Huron County Law Library is located on the third floor of the Courthouse, 2 East Main Street, Norwalk Ohio 44857. It is open to both attorneys and the public. Public hours are the same as the hours of the courthouse, 8:30 to 4:30, Monday through Thursday, closed at noon on Fridays. The Librarian works part-time so it is best to call or email her to ensure that she will be present to assist you if you are visiting for the first time. Only attorneys may check out materials. You may contact the Librarian, E. If you have a problem and want to file a grievance against your attorney, please contact Gail Bartle at the Law Library phone number or email. Mrs. Bartle is also the Grievance Committee’s clerk.

CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION

The 15 CLE hours offered for 2009 will be:

Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, 9am-4pm: 6 CLE hours Elder Law Highlights Video;

Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, 9am-noon: 3 CLE hours Mortgage Foreclosure; 1-4pm: 3.5 CLE hours Discipline Problems: How to Avoid Them; and

Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, 9-11:30am: 2.5 CLE hours Ethics, Professionalism and Substance Abuse.

Registration for each session begins a half hour before the program. All programs held in the Law Library, 3d Floor of the Huron County Courthouse, 2 E. Main Street, Norwalk OH 44857.
